Is Bruno Fernandes going to be rested against Fulham at Craven Cottage?

Man United playmaker Bruno Fernandes has been in stellar form ever since he joined the club last year in January but against Liverpool on Sunday in the EPL, the Portuguese had one of his rare average outings.

He was taken off during the final few minutes of the match after his dull display and many rumours have since suggested that Bruno Fernandes might have run himself to the ground and needs a few weeks off.

There have been reports which suggest that Solskjaer is aware of the pressure on Fernandes right now which is why the former Sporting man could miss out from the matchday squad vs Fulham in the EPL on Wednesday.

And when he was asked this very same question by the reporters, Ole was quick to shun away any doubts over the fitness of Bruno Fernandes.

He told during his pre-match press conference: “His form is very good, he was just voted the Player of the Month,”

“He’s not tired, no. No chance. He’s one of the players who runs and covers the ground in every single game.

“He’s very good at recovery, very good at recharging his batteries. If he’d scored with his free-kick, if he’d just had a bit of air on the shot when Luke put the cross in, he’d have been lauded as the best player in the Premier League again.

“Since he came in, he’s been absolutely immense. No, he’s not tired. If I ask him, there’s absolutely no chance he’ll say he’s tired.”

Bruno Fernandes did not have the best of times on the pitch at Anfield on Sunday and given they take on Liverpool once again next weekend, Solskjaer could very well keep him on the bench at Craven Cottage.

The Man United boss is expected to rotate his squad on Wednesday and this could see Fernandes drop to the bench with summer signing Donny van de Beek coming into the starting XI.
