Erling Haaland is set to become the most talked about player in the next few months and if everything goes to plan then he could be playing for a Premier League side next season.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Man City have all registered an interest in the centre-forward but Borussia Dortmund are demanding a crazy amount to let the player move out this summer.

As per reports, Dortmund want around 150-175 million euros for the sale of Erling Haaland and we are not yet sure which all clubs are ready to pay the asking price for the Norwegian international.

But if Fabrizio Romano’s statement is correct then Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have a slight upper hand over the two Manchester clubs in this transfer race.

Romano said on his Here We Go Podcast, as reported: “Chelsea are interested in Erling Haaland. They want to try this summer but need something crazy to convince Dortmund, more than 150m euros.

“It’s up to Roman Abramovich. Haaland is open to talk with Chelsea.”

This will be a major setback for the two English clubs since Manchester City and Manchester United have long been linked with Erling Haaland but as per Romano’s claims, they will be helpless if Chelsea do decide to move ahead.

BVB are adamant about not letting Haaland leave this summer but we think if one of the three interested clubs are ready to pay the demanded price then the German side will crumble under pressure.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City have the financial power to pay such a big asking price but they are also being linked with Harry Kane so if they find it too difficult to sign Erling Haaland then they will shift their focus to the Spurs man.

Chelsea are also eyeing Romelu Lukaku as a centre-forward option and the Belgian will be a much cheaper solution as compared to the Dortmund man. So we will also have to wait and see if Tuchel is ready to splash the big bucks on Erling Haaland or does he go for the Inter Milan man.

Haaland joined BVB last year and in his 59 appearances for the club, the youngster has scored 57 goals along with 15 assists.
