Premier League side Chelsea FC have been heavily linked with a move for Erling Haaland but as per the latest rumours, Borussia Dortmund are not ready to let him leave in the summer.

Former Norway international Jan Aage Fjortoft recently wrote on Twitter: “I understand Chelsea are preparing a “BIG offer” to check out and challenge Dortmund’s “he will stay here next season”.

“The understanding is that Dortmund won’t say no to 175 million euro.”

Chelsea are confident they will be able to break Dortmund’s resolve but as per Sky Sports, the Bundesliga side remain adamant about their decision especially since they have already parted ways with Jadon Sancho.

BVB are not ready to lose two of their biggest forwards in the same transfer window and since Sancho has gone to Manchester United, they will do all they can to prevent Chelsea from signing Erling Haaland.

Mino Raiola and the Blues will obviously want this transfer to happen but since Haaland has three more years left on his current deal, it’s the German side who have the ultimate call.

Chelsea have also been linked with forwards like Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku during the summer and we have a feeling that Thomas Tuchel is not going to waste too much time in trying to get his hands on Erling Haaland.

If the Blues boss understands that BVB are not going to sell the 20-year-old then he will swiftly shift his focus to the other targets.
