Everton have made a pretty solid start to their Premier League campaign, winning one and drawing their previous game against Leeds United.

And next up, they take on Brighton and Hove Albion, a team who have picked up all three points in their first two matches.

Rafa Benitez has managed to steady the ship after Ancelotti’s sudden move out of the club and if they can pick up a win this weekend then it will be a big confidence booster before they head into the international break.

The Toffees have failed to pick up a win in their last four away matches against the Seagulls but given that Benitez has only a few absentees, the manager should be able to name his strongest line up on Saturday.

Everton’s team news vs Brighton and Hove Albion:

Holgate and Michael Keane played in midweek against Huddersfield in the EFL Cup and we expect both of them to keep their place this weekend as well.

This means Yerry Mina will miss out while Digne and Seamus Coleman will play as the two full-backs. Both of them were rested in midweek so they will be raring to go.

Allan and Doucoure are currently the first-choice defensive midfield pairing for the Everton boss and they will keep their place in the starting line up against Brighton.

We still do not know if James Rodriguez is coming back into the side or not which is why we expect Rafa Benitez to stick with Demarai Gray in the advanced role.

Richarlison and Townsend will most likely play on the wings with Calvert-Lewin playing as the main centre-forward.

Moise Kean picked up a red card in the 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Huddersfield so he will not be available for selection in matchweek three.

Everton predicted line up vs Brighton and Hove:

Predicted XI(4-2-3-1): Pickford; Keane, Holgate, Seamus Coleman, Digne; Allan, Doucoure, Gray; Townsend, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin.
