Arsenal seem to have joined the likes of Everton and West Ham United in the race to sign Rangers FC midfielder Glen Kamara, according to Give Me Sport.

The report claims: “Arsenal remain interested in re-signing Glen Kamara and could priorities a move for the Rangers star if they continue to struggle to sign other midfield targets, GIVEMESPORT can exclusively reveal.

“Kamara – who formed a huge part of Steven Gerrard’s side to win the Scottish Premiership title – first emerged as a target back in April and has also attracted the interest of Everton and West Ham.

“An unnamed team in the Russian Premier League have also offered his representatives a lucrative move there.”

Will Arsenal be able to land Glen Kamara?

The Gunners have also been linked with Ruben Neves but as per the latest updates, the Wolves midfielder is closer to joining Manchester United and not Arsenal.

And maybe this is why the North London side have wasted no time in shifting their focus to Glen Kamara – a player who has come up through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium.

Everton and West Ham United have been keeping tabs on this whole situation for some time but if Arsenal are really interested in signing him then they could very well jump ahead of the other suitors.

Rangers have already brought in John Lundstram on a free transfer and they currently value Kamara at £10million – a price which all the Premier League sides can afford.

The Gunners have seen Ceballos and Odegaard return to Spain and they have also let Matteo Guendouzi leave. Granit Xhaka is also on his way to Roma which is why Mikel Arteta needs to bring in a new midfielder asap.

Arsenal do not have European football to offer, like West Ham United but many think Glen Kamara might have unfinished business at his ex-club. Arsenal are still one of the major clubs in Europe and if they coming calling then Kamara could very well snub all the other clubs.

The Finland international has been one of the star players for Rangers during the 2020-21 season and if the fee is right then the Gers will not hesitate to cash in on him this summer. Now, what remains to be seen if Arsenal are swift in making a move or do West Ham United or Everton secure a deal before the Gunners can make up their mind.
