Harry Kane Tottenham Hotspur playing for England

At the start of the summer, Tottenham Hotspur were not willing to let Harry Kane leave but as per The Express, Daniel Levy is slowly softening his tone.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola has already made it clear that he wishes to sign the English forward and now it looks like the Lilywhites will let him leave for the right price.

The report claims: “City are still keen to land Kane, but they will be forced to engineer yet another record-breaking move in order to secure his services.

“Tottenham would consider a bid in the region of £120m if the Manchester heavyweights commit to another £20m in add-ons, according to the Sunday Star.

“The report claims that City’s additional fees would depend on them winning the Champions League and another Premier League title with Kane in attack.”

Will Man City break the bank for Harry Kane?

Pep Guardiola has recently said that his side will try and sign Harry Kane but if Spurs are not ready to sell him then they won’t push the issue further.

“He is a player for Tottenham Hotspur and if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, it is finished,” Guardiola said, as quoted by Sky Sports.

“I think Man City and many clubs in the world want to try to sign him, we are not an exception, but it depends on Tottenham.

“It is different to Jack. He had the release [clause] and Jack is different. Harry is exceptional and we are interested in him but if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate, nothing more to say.”

But now this latest update is sure to give City a lot of hope and given their financial might, they are more than capable of paying the aforesaid sum for the 28-year-old.

They have just paid £100 million for Jack Grealish and if Kane is really up for sale then Manchester City are surely the favourites to land him.

As per some rumours, Harry Kane has already agreed on personal terms with the Etihad outfit so the only thing left for them to do is to convince Spurs on letting their most important player leave.
