Harry Kane playing for England Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has not returned to training for Tottenham Hotspur and as per the latest gossip, the English forward might be pushing for a move out of the club.

Some people had suggested that Kane has not yet joined his teammates because of a Covid test but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has come out to clear the air, stating that the forward has not returned due to his own wish.

On Monday morning, Romano updated on Instagram: “Harry Kane has NOT shown up for Tottenham training today morning after holidays, confirmed. Kane was expected to come back today after free days post Euros but he’s not at trainings.

“It’s Harry Kane choice and not related to Covid test or any other similar situation about Covid.

“Kane is still sure that he has had a ‘gentlemen agreement’ with the club since one year to leave Spurs this summer.

“Tottenham want to clarify the situation with the player as Daniel Levy, Paratici, Nuno & the whole club will “do everything they can” to keep him at Spurs. Still on the same position.”

Romano has also highlighted that Manchester City have already seen a £100 million bid turned down but if Harry Kane was to leave this summer then they will reignite their interest.

He added: “Manchester City offered £100m to Spurs more than one month ago, Daniel Levy turned down the bid. Now Man City would be ready to jump again in the deal if Kane will be allowed to leave.”

At the end of the 2020-21 season, Harry Kane had hinted that he was ready to take the next big step in his professional career and as things stand, the forward might be looking to force his way out of the club.

Levy has time and again made it clear that Harry Kane is not up for sale this summer but at the same time, a sizeable bid should force the Spurs chairman to change his stance.

Manchester United are another club who have been heavily linked with the 28-year-old but we don’t think Ole’s side are ready to spend so much money on Kane since they have already brought in Varane and Jadon Sancho this summer.

Man United can match the financial might of their neighbours which this is why some experts believe that if a player like Harry Kane is available then they will try and make a move.

Also, Solskjaer has Anthony Martial, a player who has been linked with Spurs this summer. So the Old Trafford outfit might try and use the Frenchman in a cash-plus-player deal to sign Kane.
