Harry Kane suffered a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring during Tottenham’s 1-0 loss to Southampton on New Year’s Day. And earlier this month, the England striker had to go through a surgery to reset the damage.
Initially, it was thought Harry Kane would be out for a couple of weeks but then fresh reports have suggested that the striker will be out until April meaning Jose Mourinho has no other option but to go out and find a new striker during the January transfer window.
And now, to everyone’s surprise, the Spurs boss has indicated that he is not quite sure as to how long Kane will be out of action indicating at the fact that the forward could also miss the Euros.
‘News on Harry we don’t have and if you ask me every time we come here the answer will be the same,’ Mourinho said via The Independent.
‘We expect him to be out until, I don’t know, mid-April, end of April, May, next season I don’t know. I have no updates to give on Harry.’

This statement will surely be a big cause of concern for England manager Gareth Southgate since Harry Kane is without a doubt one of the star players for the Three Lions apart from being the captain.
The Euro 2020 starts in June and England have been drawn in Group D alongside Croatia and the Czech Republic and they play their first match on the 14th of June vs Croatia.
If Harry Kane does indeed miss out then surely it will be a big setback for the Three Lions but we don’t think he will actually be out for that long.
Jose Mourinho seemed really frustrated with all the questions regarding Harry Kane which is why the Portuguese chose to spurt out some venom at the media guys.
Harry Kane has already updated that the surgery has gone well and as per the doctors, he should be able to play a part for Spurs sometime towards the end of this season.
