Harry Kane playing for England Bayern Munich

If Manchester United sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur then the Lilywhites will be able to get their hands on LOSC Lille forward Victor Osimhen, as per his agent.

Victor Osimhen joined Lille last summer for a transfer fee of £10.80 million and in the 2019-20 season, the centre-forward has netted 12 goals in 27 Ligue 1 matches for the French club.

Jose Mourinho’s side have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old over the past couple of months but now his agent has made it clear that unless Harry Kane moves out, Osimhen is not likely to agree to a transfer.

The Lille star’s agent told The Cable, as reported by Goal: “We told Mourinho that if he wants Victor, will Harry Kane be leaving?.

“If Harry Kane is still playing for Tottenham will Victor play? Because he will always be benched for him. Kane is their number one striker and he is the captain of England, all these will always work for him in the club but at Victor’s detriment.

“He needs a club where he will always play full games week in, week out. Not to be kept on the bench.”

Can Man United help Mourinho by signing Kane?

The last thing Jose Mourinho would want is to sell off a striker like Harry Kane to Manchester United but still some rumours claim that if Spurs cannot get back to the Champions League next season, there’s no way, the England captain is staying put.

Right now, Daniel Levy is quoting a gigantic fee for Harry Kane but if the forward hands in a transfer request, this asking price will be normalised pretty soon.

Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has clear intentions of signing the England international but right now the Old Trafford outfit are happy to wait and watch.

And as far as Victor Osimhen is concerned, he will be more inclined to join Tottenham if Harry Kane is heading for an exit. And with a transfer value of around £24.30m(as per TransferMarkt), signing him should not be a problem for the North London side.

So right now the biggest question is, should Daniel Levy look to cash in Harry Kane and use that money to rebuild the Spurs squad or should he hold onto the 26-year-old.
