Man United might just be able to sign this English centre-forward very easily: Here’s why

Harry Kane England Spurs

Manchester United have been heavily chasing Harry Kane over the past couple of months and it seems like Tottenham Hotspur might have no other option but to sell him off.

Daniel Levy has reportedly slapped a price tag of £200 million on the England captain in the hopes that Man United keep their hands off of their most prized possession. But it looks like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in no mood to give up.

As per rumours, the Red Devils still remain very much interested in signing the player during the summer and now if the words of ex-Liverpool and Tottenham transfer chief Damien Comolli are to be believed then the club might be able to get their hands on Harry Kane quite easily.

He told Sky Sports: “If they are not doing well in the league, if the transfer market is difficult for them, if they are not qualifying for the Champions League, people should understand that they have to be very, very cautious.

“Remember the whole debate at the time where Arsenal had to pay for the Emirates, for the building of the stadium, and people were criticising why they don’t spend money? They did not have money to spend.

“It was very simple and I think Tottenham are in a situation where they have some money to spend I am sure, or they will have had without the spread, but that issue will create a situation for them because they have got this huge debt.

“It’s healthy debts because have built a stadium and have this incredible asset, but they still have to pay for it.”

Will Spurs let Harry Kane leave?

Daniel Levy will most certainly not want Harry Kane to head for the exit doors but we’re afraid the club might not be able to hold onto him any longer.

Kane has already opened the flood gates by hinting on a move out in the near future and if Spurs cannot keep their Champions League spot for the next season, they=n surely the forward will look to head out.

And as things stand, Manchester United are said to be the front-runners in signing the player in case he’s available in the market.

Harry Kane has hinted he’s willing to move out of Spurs in order to win trophies

But there’s also a probability that Man United might miss out on the player since the last thing Levy would want to do is sell him off to a direct rival and with Real Madrid also reportedly interested in Harry Kane, Spurs might just look to send him off to the La Liga.

Apart from all these technical scenarios, Jose Mourinho will need money to bring in new players for the upcoming season and we are afraid the club will have to gather that by selling some of their most prized assets – namely their charismatic captain.
