Harvey Elliott had a really wonderful season with Blackburn Rovers in the Championship but now with his loan period over, the winger reportedly wanted by Brentford FC.

Brentford have just gained promotion to the Premier League and as per some rumours, the Bees want to sign the winger on a loan deal.

The 18-year-old has returned to Liverpool and before joining the pre-season training camp, the youngster has made it clear that his ambition will be to break into the Liverpool first-team next season.

Elliott said, as reported: “Just to be in the team, that’s it. There’s no blockage in age now.

“You see youngsters all the time in football so I can’t use that as an excuse. I need to go in and show people I can be trusted and can play for the team.

“If you look at Salah, he’s just goals, goals, goals, goals, goals. He’s always thinking about getting into the right positions and how to score when they come.

“I need to adapt that in my game. I personally think the assists and passes will come if I’m in the right position to play those passes. But now it’s about working on my goals and my speed.

“I understand I’m not the quickest but I need to use my brain to be one step ahead of everyone else. There’s a lot of work I need to do to improve my game, but it’s easily done.”

If Klopp makes this decision then Brentford should be standing at the front of the queue but as per some reports, Watford have also registered an interest in the winger.

Watford will also be returning to the Premier League and Xisco is eager to add Harvey Elliott to his squad for the 2021-22 campaign.

Ideally, Liverpool will want him to get more game time at the highest level and with Brentford and Watford both inclined to sign him, send Elliott out on loan should not be a problem.
