According to i News, Everton forward Richarlison has made up his mind regarding his future and he wishes to head out for greener pastures.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with an interest in the 25-year-old and as per a reliable source, Richarlison wants to leave the club during the ongoing transfer window.

“He wants to reach greater heights in his career,” a source close to the Brazilian told the paper.

“Is he crazy to want to take a chance now? No. He is now a key national team player and he faces great competition for his place. He needs to be at a club of the highest standard, and to play on the biggest stages.”

Will Lampard allow Richarlison to leave?

Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are the two most valuable players in the current Everton squad but Frank Lampard will have to sell at least one of them if he wants to rebuild his squad for the next season.

It was always likely that Richarlison will be the one who will be sold and now this report has more or less confirmed that the Everton boss will have no other option but to part ways with the Brazilian.

Richarlison was one of the bright sparks, in an otherwise poor season for Everton, scoring 10 goals in 30 league matches but if the wants to exit then Lampard is absolutely helpless.

Which club is likely to get their hands on Richarlison?

Arsenal and Spurs have been keeping tabs on this situation and now that Richarlison has opted for a transfer, both the North London sides are expected to make a move.

However, we believe Chelsea have the strongest chance of signing the 25-year-old because Thomas Tuchel is planning a massive clear-out in this attacking department.

Romelu Lukaku has already been allowed to return to Inter and there are rumours that Werner and Ziyech will also be shown the door. In such a scenario, Richarlison can very easily walk into Chelsea’s first XI and get regular game time.

Arsenal are the second favourites in this transfer race because they are trying to sign Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus plus they are also keeping tabs on others like Victor Osimhen.

Spurs will be hoping a chance to play in the Champions League will be enough to lure in Richarlison but here the Brazilian will have to constantly fight for his place. We doubt if Antonio Conte will select the Everton forward ahead of players like Son or Harry Kane.
