Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has been tipped to move out of the club this summer and join Inter Milan. But as per the latest updates, the Premier League outfit are making life really difficult for the Serie A giants.

Bellerin has a verbal agreement to join Inter but Arsenal are firmly sticking to their demands, something which the Italians are not yet ready to meet.

Football London cites European reports claiming: “Arsenal’s high demands are causing complications in their attempts to sell Hector Bellerin to Inter Milan this summer.

“That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who claim that the Gunners are not prepared to ‘give in’ to Inter’s idea for a transfer.

“football.london understands that Bellerin wants to leave north London this summer and Inter are now considered the favourites to land the Spanish defender.”

Does Arteta want to hold onto Hector Bellerin?

Hector Bellerin has seen his importance diminish during the 2020-21 season so there’s no way the manager is planning to hold onto him beyond the summer.

But according to former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell, Arsenal have the upper hand in this deal which is why they can afford to be rigid in their transfer demands right now.

Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell said: “Arsenal can play hard ball because they know Inter have got the Hakimi money. They need a wing-back.

“Inter Milan are league champions and the system they play would suit Bellerin so I’m sure he’s interested. But the price has to be right. Arsenal hold all of the cards here and if Inter want Bellerin, then stump up the money.”

According to TransferMarkt, Hector Bellerin has two more years left on his current deal and is currently valued at £22.5 million. And as per the rumours, the North London outfit want £17 million to let the player leave.

So, in no ways are Arsenal quoting too much for the right-back and since Inter Milan have money from Hakimi’s sale, the Premier League side are in no mood to offer a discount.

Yes, Inter Milan have serious financial woes right now(something which actually prompted them to sell Achraf Hakimi) but surely they can afford to pay £17 million for a player like Hector Bellerin.
