Everton have been in fine form under manager Carlo Ancelotti this season and right now, they are just one point away from the top-four spot on the table.

The Toffees take on Chelsea in their next Premier League game and if they can win at the Bridge then they will occupy that coveted final Champions League spot. That though will be easier said than done since Chelsea look like a completely different unit under their new manager.

Everton have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 matches and that will be their biggest strength when facing the Blues on Monday evening. The likes of Keane and Digne will be hoping to keep the Chelsea attackers at bay.

The Toffees have a game in hand so even if they fail to pick up all three points, Ancelotti will not be too concerned but the manager will not want to leave anything to chance as the season rolls into the final few months.

Everton team news vs Chelsea:

Everton have several injury concerns going into this match but thankfully their back-line from the West Brom game is fully fit. Keane and Godfrey will pair up in central defence while Holgate and Digne will play as the two wing-backs.

Yerry Mina is recovering from a calf injury and the manager has confirmed that he will be on the sidelines for a few weeks.

Seamus Coleman is recovering from a knock but even if he a 100% by Monday, Ancelotti is not likely to use him.

Allan came off the bench for Everton’s 1-0 win vs West Brom but the midfielder will get a starting role on Monday at Stamford Bridge.

Alex Iwobi could drop back to the bench to make way for Gylfi Sigurdsson and the entry of Allan would mean Bernard will also fall out of the starting XI.

Tom Davies is another injury absentee who could make a comeback to the matchday squad but we don’t expect him to start against Chelsea.

The front pairing of Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin will remain the same and James Rodriguez is also expected to be ready and available for selection. The South American though is not going to get a starting role and might come in as a second-half sub.

Everton’s predicted line-up vs Chelsea:

Predicted Line-up: Pickford; Keane, Godfrey, Holgate, Digne; Allan, Doucoure, Gomes, Sigurdsson; Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison.
