Juventus picked up a 2-0 win against Lazio in the Serie A meaning they will go into their next Champions League game with their tails firmly up.

The Old Lady face Chelsea on Tuesday and picking up all three points from this particular encounter will be an uphill task for more reasons than one. The first and obvious reason is that the Italians will be without some very important players which is why the manager has to make some unwanted changes to his side.

The second reason is the fact that the Blues are in great form this season and they are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table.

Juventus might be struggling in the league but they are have picked up maximum points from their first four group games in the UCL meaning they are currently on top of Group H – three points ahead of Chelsea.

Juve have secured a place in the knockout stages so their manager has very little riding on the outcome of this week’s match but still, they will want to pick up a win so that they can finish as the group leaders.

Juventus team news vs Chelsea:

Max Allegri used a three-man backline in the Lazio game but the manager will have to revert to a conventional 4-4-2 against Chelsea after Danilo picked up an injury in the 15th minute of that 2-0 win. The change in formation means Cuadrado will come back into the right-back role while Alex Sandro plays as the other full-back.

Chiellini remains is ruled out from this key game due to an injury meaning De Ligt will pair up with Bonucci in central defence.

Aaron Ramsey and Federico Bernardeschi are also going to be unavailable on Tuesday so Locatelli and Bentancur will play in central midfield.

Chiesa paired up with Morata up front in the Lazio game but since there’s going to be a change in formation, the 24-year-old is going to move back to the right-side of midfield.

The same created by Chiesa will be filled up by Dejan Kulusevski while Moise Kean remains an option from the bench.

Paulo Dybala did not travel to Rome during the weekend and the Argentine is a major doubt for the Chelsea game as well.

“Right now, Paulo is not with us. Hopefully he will return to action soon,” Allegri said after the Lazio game.

“He is a player with a lot of strength in his legs and of course, when he plays, we need to be more covered in defence. The important thing is that he feels well when he returns.”
