Man City breezed past Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday and Guardiola will be hoping his side can do the same against Borussia Dortmund in midweek.

City face the German side in the Champions League quarter-finals and the first leg will be played on Tuesday at the Etihad Stadium. Guardiola pulled out another tactical surprise during the weekend as he gave both Aguero and Jesus a start in the attacking department.

But the manager is not expected to pull off any such tricks during the weekend since winning the Champions League is kind of the priority now with Man City having almost wrapped up the Premier League title race.

City have won seven out of their last eight Champions League games but Dortmund are also undefeated in their last 7 matches in the UCL. The German side though go into this game having failed to pick up a win in their previous two league matches while City have won their last five matches across all competitions without much effort.

Man City team news vs Borussia Dortmund:

Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte started in central defence against the Foxes but John Stones will come back into the side to replace Laporte.

Walker and Benjamin Mendy are also expected to move to the bench to make way for Zinchenko and Joao Cancelo.

Ilkay Gundogan remained an unused sub on Saturday but the German should be replacing Fernandinho in midfield while Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri will keep their place in the line-up.

Riyad Mahrez was operating on the right wing vs Leicester but the former Foxes man was not particularly at his best so it will not be a surprise to see him being replaced by Bernardo Silva for this key Champions League clash.

Raheem Sterling was a surprise exclusion from the starting line-up on Saturday but the England international is definitely coming back into the side against Borussia Dortmund.

Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero both started for the Premier League game but the Argentine should go back to the subs bench as the Brazilian will lead the line.

Pep Guardiola has a fully fit squad to choose from on Tuesday so we expect a lot of changes to his line up, especially with players like Torres and Phil Foden itching to get game time.

How Man City are expected to line up vs Dortmund:

Predicted Line-up: Ederson; Zinchenko, Cancelo, Dias, John Stones; Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan; Raheem Sterling, Jesus, Bernardo Silva.
