Just like the previous three seasons, Man City put their foot on the peddle at the perfect time to win their fourth consecutive Premier League title and now they have the chance to defend their FA Cup title as well.

Manchester City will face Man United in a repeat of last year’s final and looking at the contrasting forms of these two clubs, we are expecting a similar result from last year’s Wembley showdown.

Man City head to London with some insane numbers as they have won their last nine matches and it’s been 35 games since they last tasted defeat. They have also done the double over Manchester United this season and unless his players make some major blunders, Guardiola is en-route to lift yet another silverware.

Manchester City team news and injuries:

Unlike Ten Hag who will be without six first-team players, the Man City manager has only one absentee in the form of Ederson. The Brazilian keeper is ruled out of the FA Cup final and also the COPA America due to an eye socket injury.

Ederson’s injury means Ortega will come into the side and that’s the only forced change that Pep will have to make at the weekend.

The defensive line will remain unchanged from the West Ham United game on Sunday but Mateo Kovacic will come into the side because Guardiola is expected to use two CDMs against Man United.

Kovacic’s entry means the Man City manager will sacrifice one wide player and we think it’s Doku and Grealish who will start on the bench. Neither of them has been majorly impactful this season and putting them on the bench won’t derail Guardiola’s plans one bit.

The brilliant Phil Foden has 27 goal contributions in the Premier League this season and his versatility will allow him to play on the left flank while Bernardo Silva plays on the right.

This season, Erling Haaland has gone missing against the big clubs but with the kind of form Manchester United are in right now, we are expecting Haaland to add to his 38-goal tally.

Together, De Bruyne and Foden have 18 assists in the EPL this season and if they can provide proper service to Haaland then the Norwegian international is going to have a field day at Wembley on Saturday.
