Man United have had a steady performance graph in the Premier League this season and after 32 matches, the Red Devils are sitting pretty at the second spot on the table.

United have currently 11 points behind Manchester City but they have a game in hand so Ole’s men will need to beat Leeds United this weekend if they wish to claw down that gap back to eight points.

The last time these two sides met, Man United blew Bielsa’s side apart winning that particular match 6-2. But we really do not expect to see such a scoreline this time around as well, especially since Leeds go into this home game having not tasted defeat in their previous five league matches.

But, it’s still Solskjaer’s side who are the favourites to win Sunday’s game not only cause they are undefeated in their last 23 away matches but also because they have picked up five league wins on the trot.

Man United team news vs Leeds:

Dean Henderson is more or less the current No 1 for Manchester United so he will start in goal while De Gea watches from the bench.

The manager has confirmed the return of Eric Bailly to training but we doubt if Ole will choose him in central defence over Victor Lindelof. Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are automatic selections for the full-back roles.

Fred and McTominay have been putting out some pretty fine shifts in midfield over the past couple of matches so it’s safe to say that the manager will choose the same pairing at Elland Road as well.

Marcus Rashford is still struggling to recover from his ankle injury and the forward has not trained this whole week, thereby putting him in doubt for Sunday’s game.

“Marcus hasn’t trained but I hope that he will join us tomorrow,” said Solskjaer on Friday.

“Apart from that everyone – of course Anthony is injured still – has had a couple of days of recovery and a week of preparation and training. You need that against these. They make you go to the edge physically and mentally.

“They have a unique style of play and it’s a game we’re looking forward to.”

If Rashford is not fit enough then Paul Pogba will once again have to play on the left wing but if the England international is back in contention then either Fred or McTominay will have to sacrifice their position.

Dan James was a key player for Man United in the reverse fixture and it will be interesting to see if the manager opts to use him this time around or not. But given the current form, Mason Greenwood should be playing on the right wing while Edinson Cavani operates as the centre-forward.

How Man United are expected to line up on Sunday:
