PSG are preparing to take on Manchester City in the Champions League this week and Mauricio Pochettino will go all out to pick up a win.

A win for PSG will mean they will move over Man City in the group and occupy the top spot and with one more game to play after this, the French side should be able to hold onto that spot as they enter the knockout stages.

Going into this game, Paris Saint-Germain are sitting second in the group just one point behind the Premier League side.

The Ligue 1 side go into this game at the back of a 3-1 win over Nantes meaning they have stretched their unbeaten run to seven games now. Having said that, PSG have failed to score at the Etihad Stadium in their previous three visits.

Pochettino has a few key injury concerns going into this game and if players like Kimpembe and Donnarumma cannot be fit in time then it will be massive headaches for the Argentine manager.

Paris Saint-Germain team news vs Manchester City:

Gianluigi Donnarumma missed the Nantes game due to gastroenteritis and this could keep him out of the side on Wednesday as well. If the Italian is not fit then Keylor Navas will come in as the No 1.

Everyone was sure that Sergio Ramos was going to make his debut during the weekend but the Spaniard wasn’t risked in that match.

We are not banking on Poch to give Ramos a starting role vs Man City but if Kimpembe is ruled out then the manager doesn’t have any other option but to pair up Ramos alongside Marquinhos.

The PSG boss is not going to tinker with the midfield trio but there’s an outside chance that Ander Herrera or Gini Wijnaldum could get a start( if Pochettino wants to add an extra layer of protection in the middle of the pitch).

Neymar was an injury scare for the Nantes game as he had returned from international duty with an injury but the Brazilian did manage to play for 68 minutes which means he is in line to start against Man City as well.

Lionel Messi and Mbappe were both amongst the scorers during the weekend and they are obviously guaranteed starters.

PSG predicted line up vs Manchester City:

Predicted Starting Line up(4-3-3): Navas; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe/Sergio Ramos, Diallo; Paredes, Idrissa Gueye, Verratti; Neymar, Mbappe, Lionel Messi.
