Rangers FC suffered a blow in their UCL qualification, losing 2-0 in midweek but they will have to keep that disappointment behind them when they return to the Premiership.
Next up, the Gers take on Kilmarnock in the league this weekend and Van Bronckhorst will be hoping the stumble in midweek will not affect his players’ performances.
Rangers FC have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven home matches against Kilmarnock in all competitions but the manager will be without some very important players and this is certainly a cause of concern for him.
It’s still early days so GvB is still chopping and changing his starting line up and this might just give Kilmarnock the opportunity to perform the ideal smash and grab on Saturday.
Rangers FC team news for the weekend:
Van Bronckhorst has a handful of injury concerns going into gameweek 2 of the season and the first notable absentee will be Ianis Hagi who is only expected to return sometime in November.

Kemar Roofe is another long-term absentee for the Ibrox outfit and he too is yet to return to first-team training. Alfredo Morelos, however, has started light training but the South American is not going to be fit in time for the Kilmarnock game.
With Roofe, Morelos and Hagi all missing, Croatian Antonio-Mirko Colak is going to lead the line vs Kilmarnock.
Filip Helander is out with a foot injury and as per the reports, he is going to return towards the end of this month.
Thankfully, the Rangers FC is hopeful that Ryan Kent will be available for selection on Saturday. Scott Wright came off the bench in midweek but he is going to come back into the first XI alongside Kent.
Malik Tillman and Rabbi Matondo played on either wing for the UCL qualifier but with Kent and Wright coming back, the pair is going to move back to the bench.
Rangers FC predicted line up vs Kilmarnock:
Predicted Starting XI(4-2-3-1): McLaughlin; Tavernier, Goldson, Sands/Souttar, Barisic; Lundstram, Kamara; Wright, Jack, Kent; Colak.
