Wolves are yet to get off the mark in the new season of the Premier League and they could very well be staring at a third straight loss since they will take on Manchester United in their next outing.

The Molineux outfit lost their opening day fixture to Leicester City and then they suffered a 1-0 loss to Spurs. And given that Man United have scored six goals in their first two games, Wolves have to dig deep if they wish to pick up a win.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have lost their last five matches in the Premier League and United won this fixture 2-1 on the final day of last season.

Burno Lage’s side picked up a 4-0 win in their Carabao Cup match against Nottingham Forest so that will help settle some nerves in the squad. But with several first-team players being linked with an exit we don’t see the home side picking up all three points on Sunday.

Wolves’ team news vs Manchester United:

Ruddy started in goal in midweek against Forest but Jose Sa will reclaim his No 1 spot on Sunday.

Conor Coady, Kilman and Saiss all featured in a three-man defensive line in midweek and so fatigue could be a big factor going into the Man United game for them.

Ruben Neves is being heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and if he is really on the verge of moving out then the manager is not likely to use him on Sunday.

If Neves is not selected then Dendoncker is the one who will partner Joao Moutinho in central midfield.

Since Bruno Lage is going to set up a 3-4-3 system once again Hoever and Marcal are going to play as the two wing-backs.

Hoever was another player who featured in the first XI against Forest so there’s a big chance that Semedo could feature in his place.

Adama Traore is another player who has been linked with a move out of the club but the Wolves manager will be hoping to use him against Manchester United on Sunday.

Fabio Silva had a good outing in midweek but Trincao and Jimenez are both expected to come back into the starting line up this weekend.

Wolves predicted line up vs Man United:

Predicted Starting XI(3-4-3): Sa; Conor Coady, Kilman, Saiss; Ruben Neves/Dendoncker, Moutinho, Marcal, Hoever/Semedo; Adama Traore, Jimenez, Trincao.
