The PFA player of the year and the young player of the year nominations have been released by the Scottish FA and its no surprise that the list is dominated by Celtic and Rangers players.

Two Celtic players and two Rangers players have made it to the list and the winners will be announced on Sunday evening.

The official SPFL website stated:

“Celtic pair James Forrest and Callum McGregor and Rangers duo Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent, on loan from Liverpool, are in contention for the top award.

“Kent has also been nominated for Young Player of the Year, along with Aberdeen’s Lewis Ferguson and Motherwell pair Jake Hastie and David Turnbull.”
