All the Premier League clubs have voted to resume training from Tuesday, the official website of the EPL has confirmed via a statement.

The reports have suggested that the 2019-20 season is expected to play their 92 remaining matches from the next month. And as of now, two dates(June 12 and June 19) have been picked for the restart of the English top division

The statement read: “Premier League Shareholders today voted unanimously to return to small-group training from tomorrow afternoon, the first step towards restarting the Premier League, when safe to do so.

“Step One of the Return to Training Protocol enables squads to train while maintaining social distancing. Contact training is not yet permitted.

“This first stage has been agreed in consultation with players, managers, Premier League club doctors, independent experts and the Government.

“Strict medical protocols of the highest standard will ensure everyone returns to training in the safest environment possible.

“The health and wellbeing of all participants is the Premier League’s priority, and the safe return to training is a step-by-step process.

“Full consultation will now continue with players, managers, clubs, the PFA and LMA as protocols for full-contact training are developed.”

This is great news for all the EPL fans and also for all the cash crunched clubs. But there’s a real concern that the players will not be getting enough time to regain their full fitness.

And this is why a number of teams might ask the PL to push the resumption date by a couple of weeks so that their players are not rushed back into matches.

Here’s a list of all the training ground rules that need to be followed.
