Christian Eriksen playing for Spurs Spurs

Spurs will take on Watford in the Premier League this weekend and it looks like Mauricio Pochettino is set to miss both Heung Min Son and Chrisitan Eriksen.

Eriksen suffered a dead leg while playing for the national side and if reports are to be believed then the playmaker could be out of the squad for the clash vs the Hornets.

As for Heung Min Son, the South Korean was involved in international duty and only returned back to London on Thursday.

This means he will have only one full day to train before the Spurs vs Watford clash and as per numerous rumours, Pochettino might have plans to give him a rest.

While the absence of these two players will surely be a huge blow for the Spurs boss but the manager does have apt backups in the form of Lucas Moura and Dele Alli.

Also after the Watford game, the North London side have a Champions League game Zvezda which is more or less a much win for them especially after that 7-2 drubbing by Bayern Munich.

And after that, the Lilywhites head to Anfield in order to take on Liverpool and Pochettino would surely want all his best players fit and available for selection.

Having said that though, Pochettino’s focus right now is on the Watford game since Spurs have not only lost their previous two matches but have also conceded 10 goals in those matches.

So if they can’t get their act straight on Saturday then the fans would surely start calling for Pochettino’s head.

The absence of Heung Min Son and Christian Eriksen will leave a gaping hole in the squad but we don’t think the manager will not be too concerned since he has covering players for that region.
