Leicester City managed to pick up a 2-1 win over Manchester United in the Premier League on Tuesday and these three points have given their top-four hopes a massive boost.

But this weekend, they will have to keep their league ambitions on the side since Rodgers has the chance to win a major trophy as Leicester City prepare to face Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

The Foxes have won 8 of their last 9 matches in the FA Cup and that win vs Manchester United will have surely given them a lot of upliftment. But the kind of form that Chelsea are in right now, Brendan Rodgers’ players will have to be on their toes for the full 90 minutes.

A win on Saturday will not only help Leicester City win the FA Cup but at the same time, they will get a massive lift in the top-four race since just three days later, both these sides will meet again, this time in the Premier League.

Leicester City team news vs Chelsea:

Jonny Evans has missed the previous two matches with an ankle injury so he’s facing a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s encounter. If Evans is deemed fully fit then he will come straight back into central defence alongside Fofana and Soyuncu.

But if the former Manchester United centre-back is not ready then Castagne might once again have to play in the three-man backline. Rodgers has made it clear that the decision to use Evans will only be made on Friday.

The manager said in his press conference: “He was outside today and he looked really good. We’ll see what the reaction is after that and then we’ll make a final decision on that tomorrow, but we’re really hopeful.”

Brendan Rodgers played with a conventional back-four against Manchester Unite but on Saturday, the manager is expected to revert to a 3-4-1-2 system, allowing the use of two wing-backs.

Ricardo Pereira was not used against United but he is going to replace Mark Albrighton as the right wing-back against Chelsea in the final.

Ndidi and Tielemans will pair up in central defence while Ayoze Perez is going to make way for James Maddison as the playmaker slots up in the No 10 role.

Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy have been hunting in pairs for Leicester City in the past couple of months and they are once again going to lead the line with Vardy playing on the shoulder of defenders like Thiago Silva and Christensen.

How Leicester City could line up vs Chelsea:
