Aubameyang did not feature in Gabon’s game against Egypt yesterday and immediately there were reports that he had picked up an injury.
Arsenal will play Liverpool on Saturday and if Aubameyang had picked up an injury then Mikel Arteta would have been all sorts of trouble. But thankfully, that is not the case.
According to Standard, Aubameyang is not injured and he’s also taken part in training at Arsenal’s base on Thursday.
Gabon’s game vs Egpyt did not have anything riding on it since Gabon had already failed to qualify for the World Cup and this is why both club and country had mutually agreed to send Aubameyang back to London earlier than the others.
The report claims that the forward is not injured whatsoever and this is a huge sigh of relief for the manager since Auba has been one of the standout players for the Gunners in recent months.

In his 10 Premier League appearances, the forward has scored four and assisted one goal and he had even scored for Gabon against Libya last week.
Now that the Aubameyang rumours have been cleared, it’s certain that he will be leading the line while Lacazette plays in the No 10 role.
This means Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac is the only two injury absentees going into the Liverpool game.
Xhaka is out with a medial knee ligament injury which he had picked up in September while Kolasinac picked up an ankle injury during national duty this past week.
