Cristiano Ronaldo has entered the twilight of his career but still, he is spicing up the Serie A with Juventus. But there’s every chance that the player could leave in the summer.

This season, the Portuguese has netted 25 goals in just 31 games across all competitions which is a staggering feat considering the player is already 35 years old.

And it’s more or less evident that Cristiano Ronaldo could hang up his boots any time now and most people feel that like many a great before him, the forward too will finish off his professional career with a stint in the MLS.

During the past couple of weeks, David Beckham has successfully managed to launch his new MLS side named Inter Miami and towards the end of last month, the former Manchester United winger admitted to the fact that getting someone like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo would be an absolute dream come true.

“We’ve got great opportunities down in Miami,” Beckham told Fallon, as quoted by BR.

“We’ve been contacted by a lot of different players with possibly coming to join the team. As any owner, you really want the best players.

“And if we have the opportunity to bring in players like Cristiano or Leo Messi, I’ve got such admiration for them as athletes. If we can bring those players in, then great.

“As an owner, if you want to bring these players in, then we have a great opportunity.”

Now though speaking about a potential move to the MLS, Cristiano Ronaldo has made it clear that he is happy at Juventus but at the same time he did not shrug away the rumours of him joining Inter Miami during the summer.

“I’m happy,” he told Sky Sports.

“I’m in the best club in Italy, I’m playing alongside the best players. I’m happy we won trophies last year – and this year I hope to win as well.

“As an individual I am happy. I went to Juventus to score goals and do my best and I am very happy.”

So, is Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Inter Miami?

Cristiano Ronaldo is under contract at Juventus until the summer of 2022 and given the amount of money, the Turin based outfit has splashed for him, we don’t think they would allow him to leave during the summer.

But by the time his contract expires, the Portuguese would be 37 so there’s every chance that Juventus might want to cash in on him before he even enters the final year of his deal.
