Premier League side Liverpool FC are said to be interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus as a long-term replacement for Wijnaldum.
Wijnaldum has joined PSG after leaving Liverpool as a free agent this month and now the Anfield outfit is being linked with a host of midfielders, Florian Neuhaus being one of them.
The Guardian report: “The Germany midfielder Florian Neuhaus is a potential summer transfer target for Liverpool as they consider replacements for Georginio Wijnaldum.
“The midfielder is one of several options under consideration at Liverpool although it is not guaranteed they will sign a replacement for Wijnaldum, who joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer this week.”
Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg has also confirmed this news claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to sign him but the club are yet to make any official approach for the 24-year-old.
The journalist wrote on Twitter: “Klopp wants him, confirmed! There have already been talks in the past few days. The club want to replace Wijnaldum. But there is no offer yet. The topic could become hot after the Euros. Price: More than €40m. No release clause.”

Will Liverpool be able to sign Florian Neuhaus?
Florian Neuhaus is one of the most exciting talents to come out of the Bundesliga side in recent times and many have even dubbed him as the next Toni Kroos. But last month reports in Germany had claimed the player is not keen to leave Borussia Monchengladbach this summer.

Monchengladbach have missed out on Europe next season but despite that, the midfielder has no interest in leaving. But this was before Liverpool had registered an interest in him.
TransferMarkt currently values him at £31.5 million which is a good enough bracket for Liverpool but since he still has three more years left on his current deal, the German side are definitely going to quote a higher price.
Liverpool have also been linked with players like Yves Bissouma and Youri Tielemans but both of them have been labelled in the £50-70 million area. So if Florian Neuhaus is valued at anything less than that then Klopp will surely be interested in him.
