Harry Kane has wrapped up another successful season with Spurs but many think the forward has already played his final game for the North London side.

In a recent interview, the England international had told Gary Neville about his hopes of challenging the best players in the world and also to compete for major trophies.

Kane told Gary Neville on his YouTube show, The Overlap, as per Sky Sports: “I don’t want to come to the end of my career and have any regrets. I want to be the best I can be.

“I never said I’d stay at Spurs for the rest of my career and I’ve never said I’d leave Spurs. People might say, ‘he’s desperate for trophies, he needs trophies’, but I feel like I’ve still got almost another career to play.

“I’m not afraid to say, ‘I want to be the best’. I want to try and get on the level Ronaldo and Messi got to. That’s my ultimate goal – to be winning trophies season in, season out, scoring 50, 60, 70 goals season in, season out.

“I want to be playing in the biggest games. This season, I’m watching the Champions League and the English teams doing amazing, and they’re the games I want to be involved in.”

And ever since this interview, there have been numerous reports and rumours about Harry Kane looking to move out of Spurs as soon as possible and these reports have been further amplified by the news of big clubs like Manchester City and Manchester United wanting to sign him.

All this has really caused a fair bit of stir in the English footballing scene that too right before the Euros so pundit Gary Neville has had to come out and make a few things clear.

“In that interview with me, he never said that he wanted to leave Tottenham. I don’t know what part of the interview people think he said that,” Neville explained on Sky Sports, as quoted.

“He said ‘there was a conversation to be had and the chairman, to be fair to him, wants to accept a bid for him’.

“He never said that ‘he wanted to leave’. I think he’s at a point in his career where it’s a reflection point. It’s the same for Tottenham also.”

Harry Kane has netted 23 goals this season in the Premier League but still, he won’t be playing in the Champions League next season. So ideally he should be playing for a team like Man United, Chelsea or Man City next season.

But reports claim that Daniel Levy is not too happy with this interview which is why we think Kane has possibly asked Gary Neville to do a bit of a damage limitation.

In the end, we are sure that Harry Kane will be looking to secure an exit from Spurs in the coming months and all he has to do is choose the club where he wants to play next season and then that club will have to pay an enormous transfer fee for him to Daniel Levy.
