Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has reportedly been offered to Ligue 1 giants PSG as manager Mikel Arteta is looking to raise funds for his new signings.

GFNF cite RMC Sport claiming: “PSG have been offered Hector Bellerin.

“RMC Sport report that Ligue 1 side PSG have been offered 25-year-old Spanish right-back Hector Bellerin.

“The Spaniard is part of a list of players that Arsenal are strongly considering offloading this summer and Les Parisiens have asked for some time to think on this possibility before coming back with a definitive answer.”

Will Hector Bellerin be sold to PSG?

Oddly enough this news comes just one day after Arsenal made Cedric Soares’ loan deal permanent from Southampton.

The club officially announced: “We have reached agreements with both Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares to join the club on permanent deals.

“Both players joined us initially on loan in January, and after impressing on and off the pitch over the past eight months, all parties have agreed to make their moves permanent.

“Portuguese defender Cedric joins us permanently from Southampton, where he appeared over 100 times. He made five Premier League appearances for us during the restart, scoring on his debut in our 4-0 home victory over Norwich City.”

Apart from Soares, Arteta also has Maitland-Niles at his disposal meaning cashing in on someone like Hector Bellerin is not too risky a move.

Also, during the 2019-20 season, Bellerin spent a lot of time on the sidelines due to injuries and he only managed to play in only 15 Premier League games for the North London club.

We are still not sure if it is Arsenal or the player’s agent who’s offered Hector Bellerin to PSG but if the Champions League finalists are ready to pay good money then Mikel Arteta will not be too worried about letting the 25-year-old leave.
