Jarrod Bowen had been a key member in the West Ham United squad last season and his fine performances seem to have caught the attention of Tottenham Hotspur as well as Liverpool.

Liverpool had a very dull summer transfer window and as per some reports, they will look to bring in some attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window. And 24-year-old Jarrod Bowen is one of the names on that list.

Four Four Two recently cited the Liverpool Echo writing: “Liverpool could make a move for West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen in January, according to reports.

“And the Liverpool Echo suggest that, should the versatile attacker – while at his best wide right, Bowen can operate across the front line – keep up his high performance levels, Liverpool could swoop for him when the next transfer window rolls around a few months from now.”

And if this interest from Liverpool was not bad enough for the Hammers, some rumours are suggesting that Spurs could also make a move for the winger at the start of the new year.

Will Jarrod Bowen move out of West Ham United in January?

Spurs are in a complete mess right now which is why Nuno will need to bring in some fresh faces during the January window if he wants to hold onto his job and take the club back into the Champions League.

But according to ex-Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson, it will not be a walk in the park for the Lilywhites to get their hands on Jarrod Bowen.

“I can’t see where he would fit in at Tottenham at the moment,” he told Football Insider.

“Would he want to leave West Ham, where he has been integral, to play a bit-part role at Spurs?

“Spurs have got Son, Bergwijn, Lo Celso, Gil. They are very strong in the forward areas. Unless he has been promised something else, promised that Spurs are going to clear players out.

“It’s going to be an interesting window at Spurs. Bowen is still very young so he has the opportunity to play at the top level for a number of years yet.”

Liverpool also have a similar problem to deal with since it will be almost impossible for Jarrod Bowen to push someone like Mo Salah out of the starting line up.

Salah shows no signs of slowing down this season and if he keeps playing with the same tempo for the next few months then Jarrod Bowen will be warming the benches at Anfield, should he choose a move to Liverpool.

Above and beyond all this, the main reason why neither Liverpool nor Spurs are likely to get their hands on Jarrod Bowen is that there’s no way David Moyes will sanction a sale, that too during the middle of the campaign.

The winger joined the club just last year and his current deal expires in 2025 so West Ham United are in no hurry to sell him.
