Celtic FC might be looking to bring in Joe Hart as a replacement to Fraser Forster since clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal are being constantly linked with the Southampton man.

Recently, Neil Lennon had admitted that despite having an arrangement, Celtic are now finding it difficult to bring back Forster to Parkhead and that the club will have to look for an alternative if things do not work out.

He said, as per the Scottish Sun: “Well we are looking at other options. There was a deal agreed between both the clubs and it’s gone quiet from the player’s side of things.

“Like everything else, we would dearly love him back here. But if that’s not the case then we’ll look elsewhere. We’re looking at a number of options in the goalkeeping front, it’s such an important position.

“Fraser did wonderful things for us last season and he’s got big gloves to fill. Ideally, we’ll try to get another exceptional number one in again.”

Now according to former England forward Kevin Phillips, Lennon might be looking at Joe Hart as the possible replacement to Fraser Forster next season.

Phillips told Football Insider: “It is an area that Celtic are looking for.

“If Forster does not go there I hear that Joe Hart has a chance of signing. He may have something already lined up.”

Joe Hart is now a free agent after his contract with Burnley expired last month and the former Man City man will be the perfect addition to the Bhoys squad next season.

But despite the interest in Joe Hart we still believe Neil Lennon’s first priority is Fraser Forster and the manager will only make a move for the former Burnley man only when he is sure that he can’t sign Forster.
