Chelsea midfielder Michy Batshuayi might be on his way back to the club – some reports have claimed during the past couple of weeks.

Michy Batshuayi joined Chelsea in 2016 from Marseille but since then the Belgian has failed to establish himself as first-team regular.

During his two year stay at Chelsea, Michy Batshuayi has played just 53 games in all competitions for the club – scoring 19 goals.

And he spent the second half of the previous season out on loan to Borussia Dortmund where he showed his true talent scoring nine goals in just 14 games.

After this wonderful stint in Germany many thought that the club would finally welcome him back this season but new boss Maurizio Sarri clearly had other plans as he sent the Belgium international out on yet another loan.

This time Michy Batshuayi went out to Spain and joined La Liga side Valencia.

But his time in Spain is nothing short of a nightmare as he has managed to score just 2 goals in 15 goals for the club.

And during the past couple of weeks, rumours have been ripe that Michy Batshuayi is on his way back to Stamford Bridge.

But speaking during the international break, Michy Batshuayi has made it clear that has no intentions of moving out of Valencia but is rather planning to stay back and help the club avoid relegation.

Michy Batshuayi said‘On my departure from Valencia, there are only rumours,

‘I have no problem with the club and I understand the coach [Marcelino] very well.

‘We are in a bad phase, but we will continue working to overcome the slump.’

Valencia are currently 15th on the league table having won just two out of their 12 games.
