There have been rumours that Liverpool might be preparing for life without Mo Salah since a few big European names are interested in signing him.

Salah has been the standout player for Liverpool ever since he joined the club but recently, Liverpool have been linked with several right-wingers which could be a sign that Jurgen Klopp might be ready to sell the Egyptian.

Ex-Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan though has warned the Anfield outfit against selling Mo Salah this summer, unless a club is ready to pay top dollar for him.

“You can’t argue with his [Salah’s] goalscoring record, so unless you are going to get top money for him and utilise that money to improve, what is the point of selling him? What is the point of changing him?,” Jordan said on talkSPORT, as quoted.

”If it is not broken you don’t need to fix it.

“He had a good season last year, obviously he has had seasons that have been better, then again the whole Liverpool team have had seasons that have been better.

“So my argument would be unless Klopp wants to change Salah and you can see clearly what he is changing him for, why would you change him?.”

Are Liverpool planning to sell Mo Salah?

The Liverpool attackers were really underwhelming last season but still, Salah managed to score 22 goals in 37 Premier League games for them.

It’s true that Liverpool have been linked with players like Adama Traore and Raphinha in the past couple of months but we think the manager is looking at these players as a backup to the Egyptian.

Mo Salah still has two more years left on his current deal so ideally, this will be the perfect time for the Anfield outfit to cash in on him. But we doubt if Jurgen Klopp is going to take that route.

The 29-year-old is valued at £90 million according to TransferMarkt and we don’t think any big club will be ready to pay so much money for him this time around. So, unless Klopp’s planning a major overhaul we don’t see Mo Salah leaving Liverpool this summer.
