Arsenal are looking to sign Leeds United’s Raphinha but according to Danny Murphy, the 25-year-old might not be too keen to join the Gunners.
Murphy told talkSPORT that despite heavy interest from the Gunners, the winger is possibly waiting for a better offer.
The ex-Spurs man said: “Talking about Raphinha, he has not gone there, has he? I think he will be waiting for a bigger one than that, Raphinha.”
Leeds United have given up hopes of holding onto the winger but they are quoting a really sky-high transfer fee for the Brazilian. As many as three major Premier League clubs are interested in signing the winger which is why Leeds are hoping to bag a handsome transfer fee.

Is Raphinha really not interested in joining Arsenal?
Raphinha is desperate to leave Leeds and if Arsenal were the only club interested in signing him then the winger would have definitely jumped onto that offer.
However, apart from the Gunners, Chelsea, Tottenham and Barcelona have also been linked with the 25-year-old so what Danny Murphy is claiming might be true to a reasonable extent.
At the start of the window, he was very much enthusiastic to join Barcelona but the La Liga outfit are finding it hard to pay such a massive transfer fee.
While Arsenal are intensifying their efforts and are also ready to meet Leeds’ demands but we think there’s a possibility they could miss out on him.
Chelsea are also keeping tabs on Raphinha but as per reports, Thomas Tuchel is more focused on signing Raheem Sterling and even the Man City man is open to joining Chelsea. This means the Blues are not likely to challenge Arsenal.
Spurs, on the other hand, are very much in need of a player like Raphinha and we are more than confident that Antonio Conte’s side will try and hijack this deal.
Tottenham can not only out-bid Arsenal but they can also offer Raphinha a chance to play in the Champions League and if Danny Murphy’s words are anything to go by then this is the ‘bigger’ offer that the Brazilian might be waiting for.
Whether Spurs are able to stage a coup or not remains to be seen but there’s no way Arsenal will have a free run at signing the Leeds United man.
