According to The Sun, Aston Villa, Everton, and Newcastle United are all keeping a close eye on what David Moyes is planning to do with Tomas Soucek.

The midfielder has been one of the backbones for West Ham United but the club are reluctant to hand him a new deal and this means he could be cashed in this summer itself.

He’s played more than 100 games for the Hammers across all competitions but Moyes thinks it’s too early to offer him a significant pay rise. Many experts believe the manager will not shy away from parting ways with Tomas Soucek and this has spiked the interest of Aston Villa, Everton, and Newcastle United.

Which team is the most likely to sign Tomas Soucek?

Villa’s Douglas Luiz and John McGinn might be leaving very soon which is why Gerrard has shifted his focus to Tomas Soucek while Newcastle United are looking at him as part of Eddie Howe’s mega summer rebuild.

However, Everton might be his best destination because Frank Lampard will need to sell a few players to balance the books and this means space might open up for Soucek.

He’s one of the first names on Moyes’ teamsheet so if he is moving out then he will need a guarantee of regular starts and as things stand, Everton will be that club – once they sell some of their regular starters.

Will David Moyes agree to sell Tomas Soucek?

The midfielder is very very important for West Ham United which is why the manager cannot afford to sell him off this summer.

Other midfielders like Kral and Vlasic are not up to Soucek’s mark and since David Moyes is not planning to part ways with Declan Rice, the manager simply won’t be able to find an ideal replacement for Tomas Soucek in such a short span of time.

We can understand that Moyes is trying to show his authority by threatening to sell the midfielder if he doesn’t agree to the club’s terms but he will also have to understand that without a strong and stable midfield, it will be impossible for West Ham United to challenge for even a top-six spot.
