Man United urged not to sign this brilliant playmaker: Makes sense?

Jack Grealish playing for Aston Villa

Man United have been tracking Jack Grealish for some time now and there are chances that the Old Trafford outfit could make a move for him in the summer once again.

Solskjaer tried to bring the Aston Villa playmaker on board last year but somehow the deal did not materialize and it’s being claimed that the Norwegian boss has not given up hope yet.

Many pundits think Jack Grealish will be the ideal fit in the Manchester United midfield but Jamie Carragher has warned the Red Devils against making a move for the 25-year-old.

He told Sky Sports, as quoted: “I think Jack Grealish is someone who loves to run with the ball and I don’t think there’s too many players like that, I love watching him.

“I think he’s a super player, and when you run with the ball and dribble with the ball, you’re going to get people trying to take it off you.

“I don’t think he would fit in here at Old Trafford just because of the players they’ve got, not his talent. They already have [Paul] Pogba playing on the left now, [Bruno] Fernandes, [Marcus] Rashford likes to play on that side.

“I don’t think he’s a must for Manchester United, I think he’s definitely got the quality.”

Jack Grealish has not been in peak form this season in the Premier League but that has largely to do with various injury setbacks.

This season, the England international might have scored only six league goals but if given the chance, still Manchester United will sign him in the blink of an eye.

Right now, the Old Trafford outfit have a heavily loaded midfield and we have a feeling that if Solskjaer can convince Paul Pogba to remain at the club by signing a new deal then they will not make a move for Jack Grealish in the summer.

But if Pogba is looking to force a move out of the club then surely Man United will make the Aston Villa man a priority signing in the summer.
