Jack Grealish to Man City
Jack Grealish playing for Aston Villa

Aston Villa have decided they will let Jack Grealish leave this summer and he looks to be on his way to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

City have been one of the big names associated with the playmaker this summer and as per The Sun, Jack Grealish will be joining the Etihad outfit in a £100million move.

The report claims: “JACK GREALISH’S camp believe they have got the green light for him to leave Aston Villa — paving the way for a £100million move to Manchester City.

“Villa have remained insistent they do not want to sell the 25-year-old, who has four years left to run on the current deal with his boyhood club.

“But SunSport understands talks with Grealish’s agents Stellar over the past few weeks have left his team happy they now have an agreement which would allow the playmaker to quit once the Euros are over.”

Will Jack Grealish be allowed to join Man City?

Jack Grealish is one of the top three playmakers in the Premier League right now so spending £100million on him makes absolute sense in terms of Manchester City.

But we doubt if this is going to be that easy a deal since Manchester United have a long-standing interest in the Villa man and we have a feeling they will try and stage a coup in the coming weeks.

Some rumours claim, Solskjaer is ready to part ways with Donny van de Beek this summer should a good offer come in and if this is true then there’s a big chance Ole is making up locker room space for Grealish.

Super agent Jonathan Barnett has recently claimed there are a few clubs interested in signing the England international and surely Man United are somewhere on that list.

“The truth is we don’t know[interested in him]. There are many clubs and I wouldn’t put Manchester United at the top of that. But he could stay,” Barnett had said last month.

“He could stay as well so it’s a conversation the club, Aston Villa, will have with Jack and ourselves then we’ll see where we go. He loves Villa, but I think we just have to wait to see how things pan out.At the moment he is a Villa player and he has had no thoughts about anything else.”

Man United are busy wrapping up the signing of Jadon Sancho and once that is over, Ole could and should ask his management to try and make a move for Jack Grealish.

But, having said all this, Man United are planning to spend around £75 million on Sancho so they will have to dig deep into their pockets if they want to land the Aston Villa man as well.
