Jack Grealish to Man City
Jack Grealish playing for Aston Villa

Man United have long been linked with Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish but they are in no hurry to bring the 24-year-old on board, according to the Mirror.

The report claims: “Jack Grealish is expected back at Aston Villa for pre-season training at the end of the month as Manchester United refuse to be pressured into meeting his £80million price tag.

“Villa’s ambitious co-owner Nassef Sawiris has huge plans for the club to get them back into Europe.

“Sawiris is not making it easy for United to get their hands on Villa’s captain and talisman after they beat the drop on the final day.

“United remain interested in Grealish, 24, who has been on their radar since before he signed his first professional deal at Villa as a 17-year-old. But with the window open until October, Mirror Sport understands United are being patient in their pursuit.”

Will Man United miss out on Jack Grealish?

Jack Grealish was one of the best players in the Premier League this season and a lot of clubs would be more than ready to sign him up this summer.

But there are two main reasons why Manchester United will remain the frontrunners, even if they take their own sweet time.

Firstly, not a lot of English clubs will want to spend £80million on a single player especially after such a prolonged shutdown.

And secondly, various reports suggest that Jack Grealish is interested in playing for Man United next season and we feel the player will wait until Solskjaer holds his interest.
