Jadon Sancho wanted by Man United
Jadon Sancho is one of the players who is expected to make a move back to the Premier League this summer

Manchester United have been trying to sign Jadon Sancho for over a year now and many experts feel the Premier League side can finally sign the winger this time around.

Last summer, Borussia Dortmund managed to hold onto the England international despite Manchester United agreeing on personal terms with Sancho. An in a recent interview, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the English side is going through the whole process all over again.

Romano said on The United Muppetiers Podcast: “I think the situation is a bit different from what they say in these kinds of reports.

“So the situation is that, from what I’m told, now Manchester United are talking to Sancho’s camp, Sancho’s agents. I think [for] some days, they are talking and discussing about personal terms, contract.

“They had an agreement one year ago. So my feeling is that they are working on basically the same agreement – maybe there is something to change. For sure, they are discussing personal terms and trying to find a total agreement with Jadon Sancho and his agents.

“Last summer, it was not a problem. So I think they know how much they have to spend for Jadon and with his agents.

“But then immediately after, they will have to negotiate with Borussia Dortmund. At the moment, they are not negotiating with Borussia Dortmund.”

Jadon Sancho has not been in peak form this season but still, the winger managed to net eight and assist 12 goals in 26 Bundesliga games for Dortmund. And now that the German side are focusing on Erling Haaland, they are likely to cash in on Sancho.

Some say a fee of around 90 million pounds should be enough to sign the winger and Manchester United are more than ready to bring him in before the new season kicks off.

Agreeing on personal terms should not be a problem for either of the two parties and once that is done then the only thing left will be for Man United to discuss the transfer fee with Dortmund. And this is where things could get a little tricky.

Jadon Sancho has two more years left on his current deal so Dortmund will not be too adamant in holding onto him as this is the perfect time for them to cash in on him.
