Man United midfielder Jesse Lingard had a wonderful loan spell with West Ham United last season and the Hammers are trying really hard to bring him back.
All throughout the summer, West Ham have been looking to secure a permanent deal for the England international so everyone was in for a shock when they agreed on yet another loan deal – that’s according to the PL’s official website.
Yes, as the club’s are still negotiating the transfer it looks like the PL has let one slip and announced Lingard’s next destination for the 2021/22 season.

Social media was abuzz with this news and naturally, the West Ham United were ecstatic about this news. The Man United fans though were a bit confused as to why their club would agree on another loan deal when Jesse Lingard has only one year left on his current deal.

Well, to break all the Hammers heart, Jesse Lingard has not rejoined West Ham United on another loan deal – not yet.
This is just a system glitch on the Premier League’s official website which has wrongly updated this info.
We did a little more digging and found out that goalkeeper Matt Ryan is still listed on loan to Arsenal for the 21/22 season when in fact he has already moved to Real Sociedad.
But all hope is not lost since Manchester United are yet to decide on the future of Jesse Lingard so there’s a big chance that West Ham United will be able to get their hands on the midfielder before deadline day.
