Three PL clubs are interested in signing this Rangers midfielder but who’s the favourite to land him?

Fulham and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo but according to Sky Sports pundit Kevin Campbell, Nottingham Forest could have a fair shot at signing him.

Aribo joined Rangers in 2019 and in such a short span of time, he has turned himself into one of the squad’s biggest assets. Last season, he played in 29 league matches for the Gers, scoring eight and assisting five goals.

With as many as three Premier League clubs interested in him, Campbell believes Rangers won’t be able to hold onto the midfielder and Nottingham Forest could be his next destination.

Speaking with Football Insider, he claimed: “Joe Aribo has done really well at Rangers. He is one of the main men there.

“We are talking Premier League football here though. Financially, Rangers cannot compete. That is unfortunately the case. That is the way life is.

“Aribo has gone up there and won his trophies. He’s had that success. Nottingham Forest are a massive draw. It is a beautiful city.

“They have a young, progressive manager who has got the club back in the Premier League for the first time in 23 years. Steve Cooper could develop him and that might entice him. It is an exciting project at Forest.

“With the money we are talking about, I think it might materialise. I think it would turn his head a little.”

Will Joe Aribo leave Rangers this summer?

According to various reports, Joe Aribo has a £10m release clause in his contract but this figure is nothing for all Premier League sides interested in the 25-year-old.

Aribo was not overly successful with Charlton for the three years that he was with the club but he’s managed to turn that around with Rangers in these previous few seasons. And now if he gets a chance to play for an English top division side, it will be very hard for him to resist a move.

Rangers FC had paid only £300k to sign Joe Aribo so they will be able to make a massive profit by selling the midfielder which means if a good enough bid comes in then the Gers won’t resist either.

Out of the three interested Premier League sides, two of them have gained promotion this season while Palace have been around for some time. Also, Vieira has been doing some great work with the Eagles which is why we think, Crystal Palace and not Nottingham Forest have the best chance of signing the Nigerian international.
