Chelsea welcome Juventus in the Champions League and Jorginho along with Timo Werner have been passed fit for this game.

Jorginho came off early during the Leicester City game and immediately there were fears of an injury. But the manager has made it clear that the midfielder was just suffering from cramps and is perfectly fine now.

‘Jorgi is absolutely okay,’ the manager told the press conference on Monday.

The return of Jorginho is not the only silver lining since Timo Werner has also been passed fit and is in line to start on Tuesday.

The manager added: ‘Timo feels good, he was in training yesterday, he’s back in the squad again.’

Will Jorginho and Timo Werner start against Juventus on Tuesday?

Jorginho has been instrumental in whatever Chelsea’s done this season and against Leicester City he had a rating of 7.5 out 10. And if he is fit then there’s no doubt he is going to play in midfield alongside N’Golo Kante.

With Mateo Kovacic still out injured, it is an absolute blessing that Jorginho did not pick up an injury.

There’s also a big chance that Werner will be leading the line since Kai Havertz is a major doubt for Tuesday’s game while Romelu Lukaku will be tough and go. Havertz picked up a hamstring problem during the Leicester win and he might not be risked against Juventus, especially with a game against Manchester United coming up next weekend.

Timo Werner has been really poor this season scoring only one goal in seven appearances and if he is indeed starting then Thomas Tuchel will not be beaming with confidence when Chelsea take the field against Juventus.

Jorginho, on the other hand, has an overall rating of 7.19 out of 10 this season and if he’s playing alongside Kante then Juventus can have all sorts of problems in the middle of the pitch.
