Jose Mourinho tactics to be used in the FA Cup final?

Manchester United travel to London next week as they take on a Jose Mourinho managed Tottenham Hotspur side in the English Premier League.

This will be both the sides’ first game after the resumption of the 2019-20 season and Jose Mourinho is clearly itching to pick up all three points at the expense of his former employers.

Spurs played Norwich City in a friendly on Friday but Mourinho has made it clear that his side will not indulge in any more friendlies before their match against Manchester United.

“We are not going to have any more friendlies. We think it would be good, but it’s too risky,” the Portuguese told the club’s official website.

“We are going to do a normal preparation week, starting on Monday and going through to Friday. After that, we’ve two more days and then West Ham, so the next 10 days are going to be busy.

“We have to adapt to this new reality, which is what we’ve tried to do.

“We have to think that the points are there to fight for. With fans or without fans, the points are there on the pitch. Ourselves and United will have to fight for them.”

The Lilywhites are clearly focusing on their clash vs Man United next week and Jose Mourinho will be boosted by the return of players like Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn who were all injured before the league was suspended.

But the Spurs boss will have to do without the services of Dele Alli who has been handed a one-match ban for mocking the coronavirus.

Tottenham Hotspur are currently eighth on the league table, just four points behind Man United so if they were to beat his former side on Friday, then they will once again be back in the top-four race.
