Alexis Sanchez was the most talked about transfer of the summer. The Chilean wanted a move away from the Emirates stadium as he was growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of trophies.

Youngsters Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Eddie Nketiah all managed to get a grin from the often-surly star.

The Gunners host Doncaster in the third round of the Carabao cup with Alexis Sanchez expected to play a part.
