Liverpool welcome Chelsea at Anfield for a high profile Premier League clash on Sunday and before that Jurgen Klopp has had something to say about the Blues.

Usually, any opponent manager will take time out to praise their rivals before such a crunch encounter so when Jurgen Klopp was saying nice things about Sarri and his boys, no one was too surprised.

But then the German manager took the advocacy one step further saying Chelsea do not deserve to be so low on the Premier League table.

“We play Chelsea and I’ve had now twice the opportunity to watch Chelsea this week,” he said.

“Different teams played against West Ham and last night Prague. It was very interesting obviously.

“They had a good moment, good shape, good results in last games and when I saw the game against West Ham I realised I had to ask myself: ‘How do we have 16 more points than this team?’ So it will be a tough one. It will be really tough one. But we will be ready.

“We had a wonderful game in mid-week in the Champions League with a really good atmosphere and good performance,

“We need to have probably even better performance and even better atmosphere in the stadium because it will be Chelsea.

“They are fighting for the Champions League. Very big.”

Chelsea started on the right foot under their new manager but then suddenly everything went downhill for the Blues after a couple of games.

And keeping in line with what Jurgen Klopp had said, we agree that Chelsea do not deserve to be so low on the table but then what the German forgot to mention is that both Liverpool and Man City have been in red hot form this campaign.

And unfortunately, no other team has managed to keep pace with these two clubs.
