Premier League side Chelsea are planning to send Kurt Zouma to Sevilla for a cash-plus-player deal for centre-back Jules Kounde.
Kurt Zouma is of no use to Thomas Tuchel which is why the manager is ready to offer him to Sevilla in order to sweeten the deal for their 22-year-old defender.
The report cites Mundo Deportivo: “Chelsea signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla is a move that makes sense, and suits all parties involved.
“But now, according to Mundo Deportivo, the move has a hit a roadblock. Kurt Zouma, a key element of the part-exchange, doesn’t want to trade London for the Andalusian capital and it’s causing problems.

“This would mean that Chelsea would have to pay Sevilla the €80m they asked them for at the beginning of the negotiation.”
Will Kurt Zouma agree to join Sevilla in a swap deal?
This news was a big boost for the Hammers boss but just hours after this report surfaced, Fabrizio Romano has tweeted that Kurt Zouma is not yet to say no to a move to Sevilla.
He wrote on Twitter: “Chelsea are working to find a solution with Sevilla as soon as possible to sign Jules Koundé. He’s the priority after personal terms agreed, and Chelsea want him to join.
“Kurt Zouma still discussed in the deal, but Chelsea want go through also if Zouma won’t be included.”

West Ham United have already made their interest known to Chelsea and if the Hammers can offer him regular first-team football next season then Kurt Zouma could very well refuse to head to be part of the exchange deal.
And if this happens then it will be a matter of big concern for Chelsea since Jules Kounde is currently prized at €80 million by the La Liga side.
West Ham United might hold the key to this whole transfer since if they can offer a lucrative deal to Zouma then the Blues misfit will want to stay put in the Premier League forcing Chelsea to pay Jules Kounde’s amount in full.
