Premier League sides Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez but it looks like neither of them are not going to get their hands on him.

Owing to Inter’s financial difficulties, the Serie A side are willing to sell even their biggest players but according to Martinez’s agent, the centre-forward is not ready to leave.

“Lautaro wants to stay at Inter, he trusts the project and wants to win,” Alejandro Camano told FC Inter News, as quoted.

“I’ll meet with the Inter board on Wednesday to talk about his contract situation. Premier League clubs wanted him but he’s ready to stay.”

Lautaro Martinez to remain with Inter Milan?

Inter Milan have gathered a lot of money from the sales of Achraf Hakimi and now Romelu Lukaku so they can afford to hold onto Lautaro Martinez.

But Spurs are reportedly ready to pay around £60 million for the 23-year-old forward, a price which will be really tempting for the Italians.

Arsenal will not be able to pay such high prices since they have already paid so much for Ben White and they are also planning to sign Martin Odegaard. So they can only offer a cash-plus-player deal, something which Inter Milan will not be interested in.

As things stand, the player is ready to remain at the club for one more season but it’s Inter’s financial position that is the main talking point.

The Gunners are not likely to get their hands on Lautaro Martinez since they are a complete mess right now but Spurs still stand a chance. And the way Manchester City are pushing for Harry Kane, the Argentine might be the ideal replacement for the England forward.

But if Harry Kane is not leaving then we don’t think the Lilywhites will make a move for the Inter Milan man.
