Leicester City did not have the best of starts to their Premier League campaign, drawing against Brentford and things could get even worse this coming weekend.

The Foxes head to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal on Saturday and Leicester need to win this if they want to seriously challenge for a top-six finish.

Leicester City drew their opening game 2-2 and in all fairness, it was a pretty decent performance from Rodgers’ men. However, Arsenal looked in prime form last weekend so the away side will definitely have their work cut out.

Rodgers and his boys will go to the Emirates with their tails up because they are unbeaten in their last five league matches and on top of that they have also not tasted defeat in their previous six away fixtures.

Leicester City team news & injuries before Gameweek 2:

The manager has three major absentees – Harvey Barnes, Ricardo Pereira and Ryan Bertrand and all of them are all ruled out for Leicester’s trip to Arsenal.

Barnes is scheduled to make a comeback later this month but Pereira and Ryan Bertrand are long-term absentees.

Apart from these players, there are no other injury doubts going before the Arsenal game and we think Brendan Rodgers will not be too inclined to make any drastic changes unless there’s a late injury or an exit.

Wesley Fofana and James Maddison have both been linked with moves away from the club and there’s a chance that one or both of them could leave in the next few days.

However, if they are still at the club come Saturday then the two are definitely going to start at the Emirates Stadium.

Leicester City predicted XI vs Arsenal:

Goalkeeper: Danny Ward

Defenders: Fofana, Jonny Evans, Amartey

Midfielders: Ndidi, Castagne, Justin, Tielemans, Dewsbury-Hall

Forwards: Maddison, Jamie Vardy
