Brendan Rodgers Leicester City vs Man United

Leicester City suffered an embarrassing 4-1 loss at the hands of West Ham United on Monday, forcing them to slide to the 12th spot on the Premier League table.

But Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to get things back on track when his side face Norwich City on Saturday.

Leicester have been tipped as one of the big top-six contenders this season but that 1-4 loss was a massive reality check that a lot of work still needs to be done for them to grab a Champions League spot next campaign.

Norwich City have lost both their matches of the new season so it should not be a tough job to break them down. But Leicester’s confidence have been really dented after that defeat to West Ham and this could be the perfect opportunity for the Canaries to snatch a point or maybe even a win.

Also, in matchweek four Leicester City take on Manchester City so they somehow need to win this weekend to open their books.

Leicester City’s team news vs Norwich:

Soyuncu and Amartey will pair up in the middle of defence but Castagne is expected to come back into the side on Saturday.

Timothy Castagne remained on the bench on Monday vs the Hammers but he should be replacing Luke Thomas this time around.

Jonny Evans remains sidelined with an ankle injury and as per the latest buzz, he should be back in action some time next month.

Jannik Vestergaard missed the West Ham game with an injury and he remains a considerable doubt for the Norwich City match as well.

Tielemans and Ndidi are once again going to pair up in defensive midfield with James Maddison playing as the attacking midfielder.

Harvey Barnes will hold onto his place from Monday’s game while Ayoze Perez misses out courtesy of the red card he picked up against the Hammers.

With Perez ruled out Marc Albrighton should be coming into the starting line up.

Jamie Vardy had another poor outing for Leicester City as Whoscored him gave a rating of just 6.2/10 for Monday’s defeat. Rodgers does have the option of Iheanacho and Patson Daka but we think the Foxes boss will stick with the veteran forward this time around as well.

Leicester City predicted line up vs Norwich City:

Predicted Starting XI(4-2-3-1): Schmeichel; Amartey, Soyuncu, Castagne, Pereira; Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison; Marc Albrighton, Harvey Barnes, Jamie Vardy.
